Making rose stamps from Radicchio itself

The pattern of a cut radicchio looks like a rose. With ink pads or acrylic paint, postcards and wrapping paper with rose patterns can be stamped.

A radicchio is perfect as a rose stamp. At oblong radicchio, cut off the lower part. Use the upper part with the leaves for the salad and use the lower part as a rose stamp. When doing so, cut off the leaves a little above the stem so that the pattern of the leaves is visible. With some stamping ink on a large ink pad or simply painted with acrylic paint, beautiful rose patterns can be printed on cards, wrapping paper or napkins. Apply the paint only thinly and make the first impressions for testing on some paper or kitchen towel. This will blot off excess paint that would otherwise leave splashes of color. The patterns are different. In narrow elongated plants, the pressure looks like a rose with thick round radicchio, the pressure looks more like a peony, as in my example.
