Clean paint rollers (wall paint)
My paint rollers with wall paint I clean easily in the washing machine.
Do not yell now :-): But not in my washing machine!
After several moves I was tired one evening to wash out the paint rollers and put them in the washing machine.
40 degree program (runs for 1 hour 15 minutes) with normal detergent, do not use fabric softener, reduce to 500 or 1000 turns. So that it does not beat in the drum, I add one or two old towels.
The paint rollers do not have to be washed out first!
All paint rollers, with colorful and white paint, will be like new after washing. The washing machine is completely clean afterwards! No color residues at all.
To be absolutely sure that there are no deposits left in the machine, do I wash 1x moving blankets, anything old or leave the machine empty? run with the short program.
To the skeptics, I would waste water. I have always had a very water-saving washing machine, rinsing the rollers by hand in the bathtub (and I have always had a lot of colors in my apartment) is certainly not water-saving.
