Obazda after schmausi's way:

Since I moved from the beautiful Swabia to the north two years ago, we have a Bavarian / Swabian cooking day once a week.


Because of my pregnancy at the moment I have strange food cravings, I remembered the Obazda again and had him immediately!

So off to the supermarket to buy one, just stupid, that somehow you can not buy a finished product in the north. So it was to do it yourself.

ingredients

  • 1 pack Camembert
  • 1 pack of processed cheese
  • 1 onion
  • Salt pepper
  • Sweet peppers, whole caraway

preparation

  1. First cut the Camembert into small pieces and then crush with the fork. Make melted cheese and mix well with each other.
  2. Cut the onion into small cubes and add to the cheese.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, paprika and cumin.
  4. Normally a shot of wheat beer is still coming in, but since I do not use alcohol, I added 2 tbsp quark.
  5. Mix everything to a nice creamy mass and season again if necessary.

In addition there were freshly baked pretzels.
