Pimp my gourmet filet
I confess that we actually have so-called convenience food for reasons of time and cost.
This includes for me the well-known Schlemmerfilet (for those who do not know it: a Klotz fish in an Aluform, covered with various crusts of different flavors).
Due to the fact that various vegetable remains (yes, we also have fresh!) In the refrigerator had accumulated and urgently needed a remainder, the following resulted:
Slice vegetables (in our case, zucchini, tomatoes, aubergines) and cover the bottom of a casserole dish with it. Salt, pepper, a little bit of lemon juice (which had to go).
Take Schlemmerfilet (in our case à la Bordelaise) from the Aluform and put on the vegetables.
Prepare according to the package instructions.
I tell you, that was awesome! The fish was much juicier than usual thanks to the vegetables, the vegetables stewed in the fish stock, which in turn offered a delicious Sößchen for the side dish (in our case rice).
In any case, I have decided to cook our convenience fish block in the future only on vegetable bed! The vegetable Phanatsie here are no limits.
