Prepare clean hands with the boiled potatoes

Again and again I get annoyed when I have to peel my hands while peeling boiled potatoes. So I provide a glass of water and dip my fingers in between in the water. It works better and faster. Try it!

strolcher: @ Miepmiep: can it be that you peel the shell from the potatoes? Did I do it earlier? You do not get any smeared hands but it takes a long time.
Meanwhile I put the potatoes in very cold water after cooking. Has the advantage that they cool well and the shell dissolves much better.
Then I always stroke the bowl with the knife. Lets peel super fast (that's why they are called "boiled potatoes"). It's so easy and fast. The small disadvantage is just that the hands are getting dirty. I'll accept that, though. I'll just dip my fingers in the pot of potatoes to clean them, because the cold water is still there.
