Protect roof windows against heat

Last summer, my windows with insulating panels well protected against the heat. Ordinary polystyrene crumbles, there are also solid insulation boards.

They are available in larger building material markets to buy individually in different strengths. They can be perfectly cut with a craft knife. Punch in a small hole in the middle, thread through a thin cord twice, insert in the back, z. B. Knot pencil as a resistor. Front as well. Leave a few centimeters of drawstring. So you can just pull out the plates again.

Just press in the skylight, done. Works synonymous with normal windows. For larger windows possibly several rows. Finished. To avoid heat buildup behind it, open the window a small gap. The investment is worthwhile. Holds several summers.
