Renew heel lining
With a piece of old denim, the abraded heel lining can be mended and renewed well.
Yes, these are my favorite garden sneakers, the shoes are so very comfortable and actually in great condition, but unfortunately over time, the heel lining was already pretty much rubbed off, because I also pretty much just slip in without them too open (laziness hihi, if you have to go fast).
Then I thought to myself, against that I have to do something, looks so bad and it bothers something at the back of the heel. So I thought about what I can do best and decided to take a robust denim.
So I cut a piece of old denim down and stuck it back with the help of a textile glue. Of course you can also sew the fabric well, but since I do not like to sew, the textile adhesive was a good alternative for me and I can use my shoes now even longer.
