Replace missing ingredients when baking, cooking or frying

Everybody may come to the situation that a certain ingredient for a baking or cooking recipe is not in the house - and then you might not want to ask the neighbors. But there is a way out for many cases, because a whole range of ingredients can be exchanged by others.

Here are some examples

When baking:

  • 100 g sugar can be easily replaced by 80 g of honey or maple syrup
  • powdered sugar It is best to make it yourself by grinding granulated sugar in a coffee grinder
