Sausage and cheese from the fresh fruit counter without plastic

From time to time - and especially on occasions such as New Year's Eve yesterday - I buy fresh sausage and cheese at the fresh fruit counter in the supermarket.

The packaging is not always nice and I also saw a report, where it was said that the plastic packaging even contains harmful substances (any plasticizers), so that the sausage or cheese look just as long as fresh as possible.

Not only for this reason, but also, in order to protect a little the environment, I take when I go to the freshness counter, in each case a Tupperschale or the bowls for sausage and cheese, which are stored anyway later in the refrigerator, with in the supermarket and let me pack the sausage and the cheese right there.

So I have:

  • minimally protects the environment
  • less work with getting everything out of the slides later and packing them into the right storage at home

Whether these plasticizers really are in plastic or not is another matter.
