Stow "corded" cord in jam jar
I recently bought a nice round Knauel grill cord. Since this is quite rigid, she rolled off several meters. So I spasmodically sought the beginning of the interior, while I pulled out several curves. That really annoyed me. And that's exactly how it is with a cord.
