Tinker firewood angel
The angel of firewood is a very nice decoration, which you can tinker yourself quickly.
If you want to make such a great angel, you do not need much material.
- A piece of clean firewood
- Some angel hair (also available for one Euro at TEDI)
- A piece of wool
- A big nail
- Either a small polystyrene ball for your head or glue and paper
- Hobby plaster
- A piece of cardboard
- Glitter glue gold
- White color
This is how it's done:
- In the piece of wood, the big nail is hammered on top, which should later hold the head.
- From the cardboard one cuts out the wings with the scissors and brushes the piece now somewhat coarsely behind and in front with the plaster, If the plaster is dried, then one paints with a little white color over it.
- It prepares some paste and dips in a few bits of newspaper and forms a ball out of it and it should be dry overnight near a heater, then lightly spread with the plaster and then with the white paint. The best way to use right from the start a small polystyrene ball and sweeps the something with white paint. Did not have any at home and just had to make a ball with glue.
- Now put your head on the nail and stick the wings behind the wood with an adhesive.
- For the angel hair, I took a piece of wool and wrapped my hair over it, like a wig.
- At the end I painted the wings and the wood a little bit with a golden glitter glue and the angel is finished. Oh yes, a face is still painted.
