Tips for travel

Since I like to travel, but traveling also often involves stress (starting with packing the right suitcase), I have put together some very helpful tips for me, which certainly also please one or the other here.

Tips for travel

1. Clothespin toothbrush holder. Looks funny, but it is very useful. A clothespin fits in any carry-on bag and is a good prop for toothbrushes. Who wants to put his brush on the bathroom shelf? The toothbrush cups are too light in most hotels and then fall over. I tweak my brush in the clothespin and so it is 1a and can dry well. I think that's just more hygienic.

2. Protect liquids from leaking. Since it can easily happen that shower gel, shampoo and Co can leak out in the case, I always turn off the lid in advance, cover the opening with a cling film and turn the lid back on, so everything is packed leak-proof.

3. Use small containers, these are available in every cosmetics department. Small vials to fill for shower gel, shampoo or lotion. That saves space!

4. Pack emergency clothing in your hand luggage. It can happen that the suitcase gets lost, or you can only get it 1-2 days later. That's why I always pack 2 extra underpants in my hand luggage. I also like to wear 1 shirt if you are messing or sweating.

5. Take a photo of the suitcase or luggage. If the case is lost, you do not have to describe it, but can simply show it to the staff. It is also very helpful to buy in advance a suitcase that sticks out and is easy to recognize.

6. Old glasses case to store for small items such as cables, headphones, etc. use and from it into the hand luggage.
