Wax table instead of shower curtain

An acquaintance had a sloping wall in the bathroom above the bathtub, so he had not been able to find a matching textile curtain.

Everyone had been too long. They had to be cut, of course, each of the lead band had to be removed. Plastic shower curtains, in turn, quickly stick to the body, but were easier to cut.

Bringing a shower curtain to the seamstress also made the matter very expensive.

So I bought a wax tablecloth with textile inside. This is easy to cut, relatively heavy and does not stick to the body. They are also available by the meter.

I seamed the top edge with textile glue to get more stability and eyelet it so that the wax tablecloth could be hung like a conventional shower curtain.

Household items in the sewing range often have eyelets made of metal, which you can punch in yourself. Nothing can tear with these eyelets. The one I bought had a diameter of about 1cm.

Now all I had to do was hang the self-created shower curtain in the corresponding rings on the shower rod.

The initial fear that the wax table towel, which had been converted into a shower curtain, could quickly lead to spotted spots was unfounded.

The curtain has been hanging for 4 years without spores or other spots being visible.

In addition, you can find really beautiful motifs in this variant.
