A very fast dish - cream herring with jacket potatoes

Once a week we have this super fast dish, which we always like to eat: cream herring with boiled potatoes - cheap and healthy!
ingredients
For 2 to 3 servings, I take:
- 1 package (â 400 g) dill cream herring fillets (available at A ... or N ...)
- some milk or buttermilk
- 1 small apple
- 1 pepper
- fresh herbs (parsley or chives)
- plenty of 1 kg of jacket potatoes
preparation
- First, the potatoes are boiled, then briefly quenched with cold water and peeled (peeled).
- While the potatoes are cooking, I put the cream herring fillets in a bowl, then some milk or buttermilk is stirred under the creamy marinade.
- The apple is washed, quartered, freed from the core and cut into small cubes, cleaned the pepper and also cut into small pieces and stirred everything in the marinade sauce.
- Finally, add fresh, chopped herbs. That's it!
It always tastes good with the boiled potatoes!
