Another remainder for bread
If Kaslerbrot or Graubrue is over and does not taste so good anymore, because of lack of freshness, then I make ourselves a lunch snack. I take a slice, then tomato paste, then a sliced tomato (who does not like that leaves). Then grated cheese. Best a stronger as Emmentaler, but Gauda is synonymous. Then then tuna, salami or whatever else the heart desires. The whole thing then comes in the oven. When the cheese has run down, it can be cut down. My children love this "pizza bread" very much. It tastes really delicious due to the bread taste. We even have "visiting children" who wish that when they come to us.
