T-shirt neckline too tight: enlarge with bias binding

For most simple T-shirts, the neckline is too tight for me. No, my neck is not very extensive, I only contract nothing :-). Simple solution of the problem:

Enlarge neckline:

  1. Sew on the bias tape along the neckband
  2. Cut off the neckline
  3. Fold bias tape over the cut edge and sew on

Important: Use needle for jersey fabric and adjust with a small zigzag stitch to keep the neckline stretchy.

Tip: Bias binding is available in all shades and for little money. Monochrome shirts can be petted with a different (matching) color. The sleeves can also be framed using the same method. Black shirts also look good with three different colors. For example, Neck - red, sleeves - yellow and orange ... Or you can take the matching color to the pants - creativity makes even simple shirts unique!
