Boil with the kettle

With modern kettles without a spiral you can do more than just water. Even if the manual wants to fool others - it works. Other liquids can be reheated with it. For example, Tea and mulled wine, black coffee. It is important to rinse the kettle as soon as possible after use with water or to thoroughly clean it, so that no taste "gets stuck".

In addition, it is useful not to boil the liquids completely, but to turn them off beforehand.

A special case is milk:
This cooks quickly and over. But I have already tried in the kettle (ideal would be microwave, of course, but if you do not have, you can imitate it - please only in kettles without spiral!): Fill the kettle at most a quarter with milk, turn on and never go away! Turn off at the latest at the first signs of warming (noise), better earlier! It's a bit of a matter of experience - if you wait too long, the milk will boil over or over, but if you do it right, you'll have hot milk just as fast as in the microwave.
