Chicken schnitzel with honey and mustard breading

Something else to bring to the table? No problem. For example, during the festive season it is an original idea and there is not only always the boring Christmas roast! But also for birthdays or if visit is well suited.

You need:
chicken
salt
pepper
fine flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup mustard

Cut chicken into smaller pieces. Fill a plate with breadcrumbs, another with 2 eggs, which you beat with a fork. Mix mustard and honey in a bowl.

Lightly sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper, then toss in the egg. (the procedure sounds disgusting, but brings a fantastic breading) and afterwards roll in the breadcrumbs. Then spread the mustard-honey mixture and roll it again into breadcrumbs. Put it in the pan and let it turn brown.

If necessary, serve a vegetable sauce by heating cream cheese in a pan and adding some milk to give it a nicer consistency, herbs and vegetables of your choice. (Peppers, tomatoes, corn ...)
