Chocolate filled apricots

That's what you need

  • 500 g of dried apricots, I prefer the soft apricots of A..i.
  • 200 g chocolate couverture (NOT cocoa-glaze!), Whole milk or bittersweet, as you like - or a mixture of both! Also white chocolate tastes good.
  • 150 g marzipan raw material
  • 80 g of ground almonds

preparation

  1. Knead marzipan paste with ground almonds, if necessary add a little water.
  2. Cut into each apricot a small bag, fill with a piece of marzipan paste, squeeze.
  3. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie over a low heat and cover the apricots.
  4. Let it dry on baking paper or parchment.
