Chocolate filled apricots
That's what you need
- 500 g of dried apricots, I prefer the soft apricots of A..i.
- 200 g chocolate couverture (NOT cocoa-glaze!), Whole milk or bittersweet, as you like - or a mixture of both! Also white chocolate tastes good.
- 150 g marzipan raw material
- 80 g of ground almonds
preparation
- Knead marzipan paste with ground almonds, if necessary add a little water.
- Cut into each apricot a small bag, fill with a piece of marzipan paste, squeeze.
- Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie over a low heat and cover the apricots.
- Let it dry on baking paper or parchment.
