Civil courage in public transport

Today I had some appointments to do, and since I'm not that good on foot, I took the bus. Before the bus arrived at the bus stop, there were 5 teenagers around 15 years old at my stop. Heard loud music over their cell phones and were pretty aggressive.

That excites at least for me, an increased attention. The bus arrived on time and the youngsters got in, immediately started pimping on the bus driver and did not want to pay the fare. They probably could not. He tried in vain to send her out.

After seeing that, I stepped back out of the bus and dialed the emergency call, not knowing what else might be going on except for a massive threat.

The police came really fast because the guard was only 2 minutes away and took everything. Have taken the teenagers once.

On the one hand good and on the other hand? I intervene when such abuses arise and on the other hand it scares me a bit, but I would act that way again and again, because it can happen to anyone that you are attacked, right? Although not the own person, but that is, but probably incidental, because it is important to me that moral courage is practiced by anyone who feels able to do so.

If I'm wrong with my way of thinking, you're welcome to point this out!
