Clean iron with steel wool

When glued iron helps very good steel wool. Simply rub the still warm iron with steel wool (dry) and wipe with a damp cloth. Important - do not use cleaning agents or the like.

After my manual advised against all chemicals and household sponges, but recommended steel wool, I have tried. Thought first, it scratched my whole iron - looked just like that. But after I'm over it with the damp cloth, the ironing surface looked like new.
