Create emergency folder
Today I would like to recommend to you something I discovered recently and consider REALLY useful and useful! And the tip, one emergency wallet to apply.
There is a so-called emergency file (-> download on the website of the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs) from the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs Simply enter "emergency folder" in the search field and then the download file will be found on the upper right side.)
In this folder you can enter everything in different areas what is important in an emergency. And not only medication or information on the disease, but also, for example. in car accidents, what is where and how insured and where are the whole passes / policies etc.
(My suggestion: make copies + write where the original is.) It covers all possible areas of life, e.g. family, professional, insurance technical, contractual things "checklist in case of death etc.
You can also enter important things that seem completely unimportant for the time being, but in the case of death they are enormously labor-saving. which contracts / subscriptions you have completed. Who should be notified in case of death / Who NOT! what should happen to my possible pets. Where is the birth / marriage certificate, who has everything key to my apartment, there are second homes / storerooms, etc.
The huge advantage of this folder, I see that you really have everything you need together. Who does not know that: the grandma has a leaf here where the diseases / drugs on it, a leaf what she wants for a funeral and where else the things for the insurance ... In an emergency or death it is insanely expensive everything too search to find the right papers. The folder is also a kind of compass, where to find which original documents. (Grade experienced again - someone died but the birth certificate is lost ...)
I have printed out this folder for my grandmother and filled in with her, while also doing an inventory, which docs. she owns and which may have to be (new) applied for and that initiated directly. Your friend and neighbor has also let me print out one and filled out as well.
I also sent a copy directly to the nursing service. They were very grateful for that.
The portfolio is by no means only for old people a good thing. Even if you come accidentally to the hospital, you can enter everything necessary for the relatives. I will also print out such a portfolio and fill it in the course of my (hopefully) long life continuously.
