creme brulee

A dessert recipe that you can cook well in a big round. If all fold together, it is not so expensive for the individual and is something very special. And who wants to cook it on a small scale, accordingly reduces the amount.

Here is a creme brulee, which you can consume on its own, that is a solo dessert, but you can also lean on to a second dessert. Then in another recipe more.

The ingredients for 10 people were as follows:

  • 625 ml of milk
  • 625 ml of cream
  • 15 pieces of yolks
  • 210 g of sugar
  • 3 pieces halved, scraped vanilla pods
  • Brown sugar

And so we made the creme brûlée:

Boil milk, sugar and the shaved vanilla pods (with pod) together.


Mix the cream with the egg yolks.

Now quickly stir in the hot milk in the cream-egg mixture.

Transfer to small bowls.


In a water bath, heat at 150 ° C (oven) for approx. 35 minutes.

Remove the bowl and let it cool.

Sprinkle the surface of the cream with brown sugar and caramelise under the grill or even with a hand burner. Finished!
