Bubble wrap protects the car against hailstorm
This seems to be a great tip against big hailstones.
Just take a large layer of bubble wrap and put it at hail risk over the entire car. One end is clamped under the hood, clamped under the windscreen wipers, and when you have reached the rear window, you can fix it again with the windscreen wiper or on the bumper. Done is the hail protection.
Thick hail does not harm the car, the foil weighs nothing, it rolled up in the car and you can always carry it with you.
