Sawdust cake with tangerines

This sawdust cake with tangerines is always a pleasure for us.

ingredients

pie crust


  • 250 g of margarine
  • 250 g of sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 150 g of flour
  • 1 pck of baking soda
  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder

covering

  • 2-3 cans of tangerines
  • 2 cups of sour cream
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1,5 pck. Paradise cream vanilla
  • 4 tbsp sugar

topping

  • 100 g of grated coconut
  • 80 - 100 g of butter
  • 100 g of sugar

preparation

  1. Mix the dough ingredients into a smooth dough and place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Bake at 160 ° (circulating air) for 10 - 15 minutes.
  2. Drain the mandarins well in a colander and then spread on the cake base.
  3. Mix all the ingredients for the topping and then spread on the cake bottom (with the tangerines).
  4. Heat the ingredients for the topping together in a pan until the grated coconut turns slightly brownish. Attention: they are getting too dark!
  5. Then sprinkle this "sawdust" on the sour cream layer.

Hopefully the cake tastes as good as us!
