Rose jam

ingredients

  • 10 large roses (pink-scented)
  • 5 cloves
  • 600 g of sugar
  • 1 L of water
  • Lemon (4-5 drops)

?Preparation

  1. Remove the leaves from the roses, wash thoroughly.
  2. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Then reduce the heat and add the rose petals with the cloves.
  3. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Stir until the sugar has dissolved and add a few drops of lemon.
  5. Cook for another 20 minutes. Pour jam into glass container and close.
