Dry herbs slightly - this is how it works!

Do you know that? You prepare a fine meal, clean vegetables, cut this and that and want to add herbs. For me, unfortunately, they do not come from their garden because of lack of mass, so I have to rinse them off quickly and dab them dry. Then I find it difficult to cut the wet-moist herbs, especially parsley.

Recently, I came up with the idea to fill the herbs - in this case smooth parsley and basil - with one of those airy mesh bags (which are now available as an alternative to the plastic bags in the vegetable section of a supermarket) and hang out on the balcony for a moment. Mind you in the shade, not in the blazing sun! It was a very warm day and after a short time parsley and basil were "crispy" and did not stick to the knife.

It is important that you do not hang the bag out too long outside, then the herbs are limp. Nice side effect: My bag smelled fine of basil :-).
