Time

Preparation time: 20 min.
Cooking or baking time: 25 min.
Total preparation time: 45 min.

If you have neither oven nor microwave, you can still bake cakes - in a pressure cooker. This apple almond cake is low in fat and gluten free.

ingredients

1 big apple

  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g of ground almonds
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • Butter to grease the mold
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon sugar
  • Powdered sugar for the finished cake

preparation

  1. Grease the unperforated Einaz of the pressure cooker with plenty of butter and sprinkle with 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar.
  2. Peel the apple, quarter, core and cut into narrower slices
  3. Lay the insert of the pressure cooker in a circle with the apple slices
  4. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of cinnamon sugar over it.
  5. Stir frothy eggs in a mixing bowl
  6. Slowly add sugar, vanilla sugar and salt and continue stirring until nothing crunches.
  7. Mix the ground almonds and baking powder and place under the sugar egg mass.
  8. Pour this mixture over the apple slices.
  9. Add the necessary amount of water to the pressure cooker. (Please follow the instructions of the pressure cooker!) Meiner needs about 200 ml of water as a minimum amount). Bring the water to a boil, put the insert filled with apple slices and dough into the pressure cooker, put on the lid and place on level 1 and cook for 25 minutes.
  10. Wait until the pressure in the pot has reduced by itself and then open the pot. Allow the cake to cool slightly. Possibly. Take the handle of the insert and then throw the cake on a wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  11. Baked in steam, the cake is beautifully juicy.
