Eggnog recipe from my grandma

Ingredients for the eggnog

  • 300 g of sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 12 egg yolks
  • 1½ packs condensed milk, 7.5% fat (1 pkg = 320 ml)
  • 3/8 L Primasprit (69.9% Vol. Alcohol) PrimaSprit is available in Kaufland. Otherwise you should also find in the pharmacy similarly high-percentage and unfermented alcohol.

preparation

Separate eggs and stir with sugar and vanilla sugar with the mixer until the sugar is dissolved. Then add the condensed milk, sip by sip while stirring. Last but not least add the alcohol by swallowing while stirring. It is important to be very careful and economical at first, otherwise the egg yolk will coagulate what we want to avoid. The eggs must first be tipsy, so to speak, before they make them really drunk :)

The eggnog is relatively liquid immediately after preparation. This is depending on the duration of storage. We have enjoyed this eggnog for up to two years after preparation. Enjoyment: Well, hello! :) ... I recommend a waffle cup covered with chocolate sauce. Dark chocolate cups do it too. Is just a matter of taste.

The winner is to prepare a few cups and pre-cool in the freezer. Logically, nothing really freezes there, but the consistency reminds you a bit of ice cream.

Attention: with waffle cups, you should not do that for more than a day before you enjoy them (otherwise they will lose moisture). With chocolate mugs you can even "forget" the filled cups in the freezer and then find them again later.
