Energy balls are a healthy and very tasty snack.
I also eat the balls for breakfast, which gives me strength and provides me with proteins and enough energy for the day.
ingredients
- 1 cup of oatmeal
- 1/3 cup chopped almonds
- 1/3 cup of coconut flakes
- 1 teaspoon of flaxseed
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1/4 cup of honey
- about 2 tablespoons of peanut or almond butter
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries (small cut)
preparation
- Place the oatmeal, almonds and coconut flakes on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the oven at 180 for about 8 minutes, then allow to cool.
- Melt the peanut butter in the microwave and then mix well with all ingredients and form into balls.
- The balls are stable for about a week. If you want, you can also freeze them in portions, then they would be stable for 3 months. In this way you can defrost the balls every night and have enough stock of them.
