Facial cleansing and exfoliation for sensitive skin
Sensitive facial skin reacts to cleansing and exfoliation mostly with redness. The skin then feels irritated and overused.
Here is my tip:
- When showering or bathing, the pores of the skin are automatically opened by the warm steam. You can also put a very warm washcloth for a minute on the face, has the same effect.
- Then a mild children's shower gel, preferably without perfume, froth in the hands and cleanse the face. Works just as well as cleansing milk.
- Rinse with warm water and then scrub the face with a towel (does not go with fluffy microfiber).
- Since almost nobody in the face has really strong cornifications, this is sufficient as a scrub completely. The skin is well softened by the steam.
- Then a dash of cold water through the face to close the pores and apply the facial care.
I have been doing this for a long time and have no problems with pimples, blackheads and a very delicate facial skin without redness. Try it.
