As evenly as possible at 60-80 km / h, do not pass through accelerator pedal, etc. If it is already so late that the engine begins to stutter: stand still, hazard warning lights on and roll to the side of the road, set up the warning triangle. It is great if you carry a jerry can in the trunk with you. However, this should not be filled to the limit with gasoline, as gas expands at high temperatures. Even if this option does not work, one must try with a suction pump or a piece of hose from another car to pump some gasoline.
Of course, the best is still: refuel in time ;-)!
