Pasta casserole with minced meat and paprika

When my children come to visit, they are always looking forward to this noodle casserole, which they have eaten so much in their childhood.
ingredients
(For 4 good portions)
- 400 g Hörnchennudeln (I take something smaller with egg)
- 400 g of mixed minced meat
- 1 red, 1 green, 1 yellow pepper
- 1 medium onion
- 3 cloves of garlic (at will)
- 1 can of lumpy tomatoes
- about 3 tablespoons tomato paste (more or less as you like)
- Salt, black pepper from the mill, Italian spice mixture
- a little olive oil (or other oil) for searing
- 150 g grated Emmentaler or other cheese

- Preheat the oven to 200 ° (top and bottom heat) circulating air approx. 180 °
- Grease a larger casserole dish with a little butter or olive oil

- Cook the noodles in plenty of salted water until firm, pour most of the noodles into the casserole dish after pouring, and place some as "lids".
- Wash the peppers and cut into pieces. I take only half of the larger pods and freeze the rest for the next time.
- Peel onions and garlic and cut into small cubes. I pass the garlic through a garlic press.
- Put 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil (or other oil) in a hot pan and sauté the onions with the garlic in a glass. Add the minced meat and fry it with the help of a fork.
- Add the tomato paste and some of the spices and stir again with the fork.
- Now add the pieces of pepper to sauté everything at not too high heat and then add the tin with the tomato pieces.
- Now simmer the whole thing until the pieces of pepper are cooked, but still firm.
- Season the whole with the spices.
- Put the finished minced meat sauce over the pasta and mix well. Spread the remaining pasta thinly and sprinkle with cheese. If you like, you can add some butterflakes.
- Place the casserole in the middle of the preheated oven and bake until the cheese is golden brown and crispy (about 20 minutes).
- Since I do not like the crunchy cheese, I'll add some of the grated cheese to the noodle mince. Good succeed!
