Ghosts are made of wool

Today I made these ghosts with the kids. It does not take long, it's fun and it looks cute.

If you want to retouch it, here are the instructions:

You need:

  • Wool of your choice
  • scissors

This is how it's done:

Image 1:

Wrap your chosen wool around the hand as often as you want. I have to say: the more, the better the result!

Picture 2:

Now cut off an extra piece of wool (it is later the hanger so leave a little longer) and push through under the wool on your hand.

Picture 3:

Knot the piece of wool pushed through and take the wool from your hand ...

Picture 4:

that's how it should look like.

Picture 5:

Now cut with a pair of scissors the wool on the opposite side to the knot (it then creates fringes).

Picture 6:

that's how it should look like.

Picture 7:

Now cut off another piece of wool and push it under the fringes. Approximately 2cm under the "hang" so that a head can arise. Knot the ends. Let protruding wool hang or cut, I always cut it to length of the fringes.

Picture 8:

that's how it should look like. And knot the threads of the suspension.

Picture 9:

Now you can still miss your ghost by sticking loose eyes with hot glue or sewing with other wool. The imagination knows no limits!

The picture shows my little ghost family :) for each family member, one.

P.s: I deliberately did not specify any cm, because everyone has to decide for themselves how they like it best. For example, I made my mom and dad longer (just spread my fingers while wrapping) to make them look better.
