Seal / seal threaded connections with Teflon tape
To seal threads in drains, faucets, compressors, etc., you take hemp or Teflon sealing tape.
The Teflon tape is perhaps the simpler and faster method, but requires the same care as an assembly with hemp.
It is important to wrap the Teflon tape around the thread against the screw-in direction!
Wrap tightly in several layers around the thread and then tighten again between the fingers until hardly any threads are visible.
Please pay attention to an exact alignment, because unlike hemp, you can not turn back the connection, otherwise the screw connection will leak and you have to repeat the whole thing.
