Healthier life with self-discipline and interval fasting

With self-discipline, balanced nutrition and interval fasting to find a healthier life.

Now comes the time again, in the lush and more often nibbled, I say there just before Christmas. It is also just a matter of life to indulge in something delicious and frustrating the constant abandonment of beautiful things. The only annoying thing is that the delicious things sit on their hips the fastest and refuse to disappear.

I had already mentioned once before that I came across the much-praised Intervall fast, and despite concerns at the beginning have started. There are several forms of fasting, I have chosen the 16/8 method. Today, I want to share with you my experience of two years, including a photo.


The left photo shows me as a little chubby with hypertension, shortness of breath and joint problems.

The right photo shows me fit, healthy, sporty and completely satisfied, even the health complaints have dissolved in the air.

The interval fasting is not a diet, but a very effective diet change that can last a lifetime.


Between the left and the right photo is a time of almost two years and twelve kilos.

What have I done?

As usual I have breakfast at 9 o'clock in the morning with rolls, cheese, jam and coffee.

Lunch as always, of course freshly cooked, lots of vegetables and whole grains, little meat.


Dinner also normal, I like salads, eggs, fish or poultry. Dinner is at 17.00 o'clock, then dinner is over until breakfast.

That's all I've done and now it's keeping up. In order to always keep track, it requires a good balance. My old Soehnle still weighs, but unfortunately not the body fat and muscle. The product test from FM for a Soehnle Shape Libra came to my heart.

To predict it, I am absolutely thrilled with this scale. This Soehnle scale is high quality and looks chic, modern and robust. The footplate made of glass is big enough so that you can comfortably climb the scale without having to change your position several times until the result is correct. The display is nice and big, strong and clear. This is really an absolute plus. I also think that the balance is powered by 3 AAA batteries and not with button cells, as with some other scales.

  • mass
  • fat
  • water content
  • muscle percentage
  • BMI.

Further experiences, eg For example, to connect the scales with the Soehnle app via Bluetooth, I first have to do this, which in turn takes some time on my part.

Anyway, a good balance is important to maintain control of healthy body values.
