Math for cool kids

With disused coffee or mulled wine cups can be a very simple computing help for primary school children build. The design is up and running in minutes, helping ABC shooters practice various mathematical calculations with fun.

For first-grade kids who want to practice simple plus and minus tasks in 10's and 20's numbers, six white cups are needed. On the first two coffee mugs or mulled wine glasses made of styrofoam are written with felt tip pen at the top around the numbers 0? 10. On another cup the symbols for addition and subtraction are noted. The fourth cup is marked with the equal sign, and the fifth and sixth cups are labeled 0-10 on the edge. Then push together a coffee mug with the label 0? 10 and the cup with the symbols for addition and subtraction. The second cup marked 0? 10 in the + /? Push the cup, then insert the equal sign and finally insert the last two styrofoam cups with the numbers 0? 10. Already one can solve different equations by turning the cups.

Computing in the hundreds of numbers

But it is even more difficult. Hundred paper cups are needed for the Hundred Numbers. Write the numbers of 0? 9 on the first two cups and push them together. Label the next cup with +/- and insert. Insert two number cups from 0 to 9 again and then insert the cup with the equal sign. Then three more cups with numbers 0? 9 are added.
