Ginger itself to breed
Just buy a piece of ginger and make sure your eyes have not been cut out. Simply place this piece on the (as sunny as possible) windowsill and forget it.
After a time a shoot forms, or even two, three ... Now the whole tuber can be implanted. Choose the largest possible pot and do not set the tuber too low.
But do not forget it now, but water it diligently, put it in a sunny spot and enjoy the plant that is growing.
In autumn, when the plant is dry, you can dig up a lot of new ginger rolls that have formed in the pot, similar to the potato harvest.
Of this you can forget a piece on the windowsill again and the whole game starts from the beginning.
Ginger can be dried well, candied or even frozen. So you never really need to spend more money and always has something in stock.
