Homemade yummy ginger liqueur.
At Christmas time, I like to drink this ginger liqueur with friends. Now is the ideal time to make this liqueur for the Advent and Christmas season. He is a nice souvenir or Christmas present.
ingredients
- 100 g of fresh ginger
- 30 g walnut kernels
- 250 g of brown sugar candy
- 1 vanilla pod
- 1/8 L apricot brandy
- 700 ml of rum
- 1 wide-necked bottle
preparation
- Peel the ginger and cut into thin slices or small cubes. That depends on the bottle neck size.
- Fill with the walnut kernels, candy and sliced vanilla pod into a wide-mouthed bottle.
- Pour apricot schnapps and rum over it.
- Leave for two weeks and then cool. Drink with pleasure gradually!
- For longer storage, filter the batch and place in small bottles. Of course he gets better the older he gets.
- But that only works if you are very disciplined.
