- 250 g of grated nuts
- 200 g of sugar
- 75g of flour
- 1 pck of vanilla sugar
- 1/2 pck of baking powder
- 5 eggs
- a little lemon peel

- Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites into a solid snow.
- In the yolks, the sugar and vanilla sugar are stirred in spoonfuls and beaten foamy.
- Mix the flour with the baking powder and mix with the coarsely grated carrots.
- Stir in the nuts and the lemon zest and fold in the egg whites.
- Put the dough in a greased and floured form. Bake at 180 degrees for a good hour.
- After cooling, sprinkle with icing sugar.
