Hasselbackspotatis are a delicious accompaniment to fish or meat dishes, prepared according to an old Swedish recipe:
ingredients
- 12 medium-sized, elongated potatoes (1.2 kg)
- 80 g of butter
- salt
- 2 tablespoons of Parmesan
- Butter for greasing
preparation
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- In the meantime, peel the potatoes, wash them and pat dry, then cut into slices about 1/2 cm thick, but so that they still hang together below. It's best to put them on a tablespoon, then it does not happen that you accidentally cut them.
- Now grease a corresponding casserole dish with butter and put the potatoes close together with the contiguous side down; put salt and butterflakes on top.
- Place the casserole in the oven on the middle rail. After 20 minutes baking time, brush the potatoes off and on with the butter that has run down.
- 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the potatoes and bake to a crispy golden brown.
