Homemade shampoo made of soapwort and rosemary

If you look at the list of ingredients on shampoos, then you sometimes wonder if it would not be synonymous with less chemistry.

Here I have a recipe for a good shampoo with only three ingredients: water, soapwort and rosemary. Which of course does not mean that you could not also be allergic to these herbs.

The soapwort gets dried in the pharmacy. Bot. Name saponaria officinalis.

The rosemary fresh from the market or from the garden.

If I make this shampoo, then only a relatively small amount, then you need no preservatives.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 liter of water that has just boiled
  • 1 bowl of 30 g soapwort and 30 g rosemary

Blondes can also take chamomile instead of rosemary, which brightens up a bit.

The herbs are brewed and allowed to stand until the water has cooled.

Then pour into a bottle with a sieve and a funnel.

The shampoo is now ready for use. In the hollow hand pour a little of it, massage the scalp and wash and rinse the hair.
