Burnt almonds

Total preparation time: 15 min.

Sugared almonds

Ingredients:

  • 200 g almonds (or other nuts)
  • 200 g sugar (may be less, depending on the taste, I always take 150 g)
  • 100 ml of water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

preparation

  1. Bring sugar, cinnamon and water to a boil in a pan. Add almonds and stir, stir, stir.
  2. Eventually the mass will be dry and crumbly. Continue stirring until everything becomes liquid again and the almonds are glittering all around.
  3. Place on a baking tray, spread and let cool.

It's mega easy, the things taste like the Christmas market and only cost a few cents.
