Who does not know them - those annoying mold spots on shower curtains. It does not help - ventilate, let dry properly, wash regularly - the mold comes and I replace the shower curtain.
But recently Oh, shock! Spontaneous overnight visit on the march! No problem at all, I'm happy - but the thought that my guests showered behind the mold curtain makes me shudder. No time to buy a new one. Luckily, my sister is here and says coolly "Just cut him off!" I guess I looked like a car, and she felt compelled to explain that she did that herself a few weeks ago and that nothing is frayed.
Granted - I was skeptical. But the emergency made me get scissors and take off the curtain. Let's go - went very easy, we have cut a good 10 cm. Since it was not so easy for me to cut it, my sister did it. Ratz fatz was done, the curtain hung again, the mold gone!
Well, it's shorter, of course, but I think whoever does not know it does not realize - my husband, who usually sees every cobwebs (but in a cute little way), has not noticed anything yet. And also that the lead band, what is missing now, is not really missing. On the contrary, the curtain hangs airier and lighter.
Unconventional, I know, but it was a last-minute solution that I thank my sister for every shower!
