Ice cream cake - very simple: there are already recipes for ice cream cakesbut they are very different, so I put it in anyway.

ingredients

So you need a bought or home-baked cake bottom.

Further ingredients:

  • 12 sheets of gelatine
  • 500 ml orange juice (or any juice)
  • 1 L vanilla ice cream

preparation

  1. Soak the gelatine in a little water, heat the juice over medium heat (do not boil) and dissolve the expressed gelatin in it.
  2. Now spoon the ice cream into the warm juice and let it melt, then mix the melted mixture well. Allow this mixture to cool and solidify.
  3. When the cream is firm, stir frothy with a Pürrierstab or mix.
  4. Add a cake ring to the bottom of the cake and spread the cream on the ground and smooth over or dome-shaped and decorate as desired.
  5. You can also taste it without cake ring depends on the consistency of the cream. Served well chilled, this ice cream cake tastes not only in the summer.
