Simple eggnog pie

  • 1 board (100 g) dark chocolate
  • 5 eggs
  • 80g butter
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • 8 tablespoons of eggnog
  • 200g ground almonds
  • 3 cups (a 200 g) cream
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of cream firm
  • grated chocolate

Chop the chocolate. Separate eggs. Beat the egg yolk, fat and sugar creamy with the sprinkling of the hand mixer. Add rum, 2 tablespoons of eggnog, almonds and chopped chocolate and add to the mixture. Beat the egg whites until stiff and carefully lift them under the dough.

Lay out a springform pan with baking paper and fill in the dough. Bake in preheated oven at 200 ° C / circulating 170 ° C for 25-30 minutes.


Take the cake out of the mold and let it cool.

For the toppings whip the cream, vanilla sugar and cream stabilizer with the whisk of the hand mixer until stiff. Pour 1/4 of the cream into a piping bag with star grommet. Brush the cake top and edge with the remaining cream. Decorate cake with cream daffodils.

The cream dabs must be close together! Sprinkle grated chocolate on the edge and the dots. Pour remaining eggnog into the center of the cake and let it run gently.
