Incense sticks against fruit flies
I have had these annoying beasts in my kitchen for about 10 days. Sometimes more sometimes less. Mainly on one side of the kitchen, on the tiles. I tried everything possible. At first I thought, maybe the tiles are not completely clean and scrubbed everything. Organic waste ALWAYS carried out the same. Remnants are knotted again in a fruit bag. Nothing! The critters were not to kill!
I have set up vinegar traps, lemon peppered with carnations, set up Rotweinfallen ... Nothing! Although some drowned, but it seemed to me, as if multiply faster than freaky ... ups! er ... dying.
Yesterday I left an incense stick in the kitchen, because I answered the phone. And so it happened that this joss stick glowed for about 15 minutes in the kitchen near these critters.
When I wanted to get it to carry it to the living room, Oh! What a miracle! There was not a single fly left. They were probably cut off by the "stench" through the tilted kitchen window! There were a few stray flies on the tiles this morning that stunned me. But those have denied the glaring! I took off in the living room, incense sticks, lit and kept nearby. And behold, they are like the frightened chickens again devastated!
