Jacket potatoes with BBQ meat sauce

Tastes great, goes very fast, is not expensive and is also suitable for inexperienced cooks. I have the recipe from a fellow student of my sons.

ingredients

For 4 people:

  • 1 kg of potatoes (mostly solid, it tastes best to us)
  • 400 g bratwurst (seasoned coarse mett)
  • 1 bottle of BBQ sauce (250 ml)
  • 1 onion
  • Salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, possibly Harissa paste or Tabasco
  • Creme fraiche, natural yoghurt
  • chives

?Preparation

  1. Boil the potatoes with a little water, with a pinch of salt and a little oil (do not boil over).
  2. In the meantime roast the chopped meat (goes without fat, pig fat is fat enough) and stir well with a whisk and crush the chunks.
  3. Briefly sauté a chopped onion, add some water and add the bottle of BBQ sauce.
  4. Bring to the boil and season to taste with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme and possibly some Harissa paste or Tabasco.
  5. Mix creme fraiche with yoghurt and chives to a smooth cream and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Peel the cooked potatoes and serve with the BBQ sauce and a large dollop of creme fraiche yoghurt cream.
  7. This tastes very good a colorful salad.
