Jacket potatoes with BBQ meat sauce

Tastes great, goes very fast, is not expensive and is also suitable for inexperienced cooks. I have the recipe from a fellow student of my sons.
ingredients
For 4 people:
- 1 kg of potatoes (mostly solid, it tastes best to us)
- 400 g bratwurst (seasoned coarse mett)
- 1 bottle of BBQ sauce (250 ml)
- 1 onion
- Salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, possibly Harissa paste or Tabasco
- Creme fraiche, natural yoghurt
- chives
?Preparation
- Boil the potatoes with a little water, with a pinch of salt and a little oil (do not boil over).
- In the meantime roast the chopped meat (goes without fat, pig fat is fat enough) and stir well with a whisk and crush the chunks.
- Briefly sauté a chopped onion, add some water and add the bottle of BBQ sauce.
- Bring to the boil and season to taste with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme and possibly some Harissa paste or Tabasco.
- Mix creme fraiche with yoghurt and chives to a smooth cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Peel the cooked potatoes and serve with the BBQ sauce and a large dollop of creme fraiche yoghurt cream.
- This tastes very good a colorful salad.
