Jelänger, Jelieber (cookies)

The dough is best prepared one day or at least 4 to 5 hours before.

You need:

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 140 g of butter
  • 140 g of butter lard
  • 140 g of sugar
  • 420 g of flour
  • Your favorite jam (best something berry).

preparation

Mix everything (except the jam), but leave 1 egg yolk (!).

Now wrap the dough in cling film and put in the fridge.


The next day or after the few hours:

Form small globules (as big as a hazelnut with a shell) and place on a baking sheet with baking paper.

Press lightly. Well e.g. with the handle of a cooking spoon depressions into the balls. Then put jam in there.

Bake at 160 ° C for 20 minutes.
