Kasseler in puff pastry
ingredients
- 4 slices of bacon without bone
- 1 can of sauerkraut
- 2 rolls of puff pastry (Aldi)
- 1 can of pineapple rings
preparation
Roll out the puff pastry, halve each one, put the smoked pork on it, spread the sauerkraut on it and 1 slice of pineapple each. Beat the whole thing into a small packet, press on the ends, if necessary brush the packets with whisked egg yolk. Place on a baking tray covered with baking paper and leave for approx. 30 min. bake to 200 degrees. This food is very fast and makes a lot of visit. You can decorate the puff pastry packets with stars or leaves of puff pastry. It tastes a mixed salad!
